The first thing that will impress you upon meeting Dianne is that she is a passionate bundle of energy who always gives everything in life her best shot. She enjoys promoting and co-ordinating festivals and charity events, writing and reciting Cowboy Poetry, dabbling in western art and writes for several local newspapers. Her latest book of poetry titled "Cow Patties and Prose" proves that Dianne is a country girl at heart and all those who know her understand why. She likes it that way! Dianne credits her strength of character and strong drive to succeed a direct result of the adversities, trials and tribulations that she has had to overcome through out her life. She was born and raised in Manitoba and grew up on the farm with very little. She lost her mom at a young age and battles scoleosis of the spine, this has only made her more determined to reach for the stars....
Dianne is the founder and has co-ordinated the very successful and well received, annual "Alberta's Women of Country Music" showcase since its conception in 2001. She has recently founded an "Alberta's Men of Country Music" showcase and launched her first annual show in September 2004. Dianne is no stranger as a co-ordinator for Cowboy Poetry Gatherings either. She was co-ordinator for the Yeoford Cowboy Poetry Gathering for two years and has hosted the Winfield Cowboy Poetry Gathering for three years. Dianne also owns an entertainer information service called, "Standing Ovation Entertainment by Dianne" as well as volunteering for many organizations.
